Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Everything related to Imam Hussein is exceptional and superior to anything

The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi, affirmed that “everything related to Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, is exceptional and superior to anything else.”

In remarks published on his official website, the Grand Marja emphasized the importance of addressing and appreciating the great reward of those who serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

His Eminence confirmed that Sayyid al-Shuhada’, peace be upon him, is aware of all the facilities and services provided by the servants, including food, drink and accommodation, ensuring that the honourable pilgrims have everything they need.

He explained that “these pilgrims are, above all, the guests of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). We should imagine the service they deserve as they travel hundreds, even thousands, of kilometers from all over the world, heading towards the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.”

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urged the lovers of Imam Hussein to serve his guests with everything they need, emphasizing the importance of supporting the principles of the Imam’s Revolution in terms of freedom, rejection of injustice, and confronting corrupt individuals, even if the price is the dearest things a person owns, including his life, wealth, and blood.
