A senior Shia cleric from Al-Ahsa, directed a speech to the Minster of Education Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, demanding him to dismantle some of the radical thoughts which dominate the society for decades.
The statement which was a part of Friday seminar comes after the vicious campaign against Shia that was launched in Twitter from some ultra conservative figures on September 5, on the background of printing a photo of Sheikh Abdullah al-Sinawi, a Shia cleric, unintentionally on the cover of one of the religious books which is taught in Saudi international schools.
He concluded by demanding Prince Khaled Al-Faisal to address such issues and find a solution which accommodates all components of society to preserve security of the state.
