Scholars from Pakistan visit shrine of Imam Ali’s companion, Maytham al-Tamaar
A delegation of scholars from visited the honourable shrine of the companion Maytham al-Tamaar, may Allah be pleased with him, in Kufa, Iraq, and was received by the Special Secretariat of the shrine.
The delegation included a number of eminent scholars, clerics and muftis as well as scholars from the scientific seminary in Holy Najaf.
In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the director of the Public Relations of the shrine said, “The visiting delegation performed Ziayara to the companion, Maytham al-Tamaar, and were briefed on services provided to pilgrims of this blessed place, the Quranic, cultural and religious activities.”
For its part, the delegation expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Special Secretariat of the Shrine of the Companion Maytham Al-Tamar for their hospitality and warm reception.
It is worth noting that Maytham al-Tamaar was one of the closest companions of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, who accompanied the Imam through his life.
