Secretary-General of Shia Satellite Channels and Radio Stations Union visits Hajj and Umrah Commission headquarters

The Secretary-General of the Shia Satellite Channels and Radio Stations Union, Hajj Nasir Al-Shuhmani, visited the headquarters of the Hajj and Umrah Commission in Baghdad on Wednesday, where he met with the head of the commission, Sheikh Sami Al-Masoudi, and the commission’s members, accompanied by a delegation from the group and in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Baghdadi.

During the visit, Hajj Al-Shuhmani offered his congratulations on the commission’s achievement of high ranks among similar commissions worldwide, noting that the efforts made are evident and that the service and hard work done have spiritual rewards and have elevated Iraq’s name.

For his part, the head of the commission, Sheikh Sami Al-Masoudi, provided a detailed explanation of the commission’s operations during this season and the organizational measures they implemented to ensure the success of the Hajj rituals.

He also praised the media role played by the Sha’air International Channels Group and its staff in providing services to the Iraqi audience.

At the end of the meeting, the two parties exchanged commemorative gifts, emphasizing the need for continuous communication and coordination between the commission and the media group.
