Members of Ahlulbayt Foundation visit Holy Qom, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi
The Ahlulbayt Cultural and Charitable Foundation in Basra organized a religious trip for members of its Religious Inquiry Committee to the holy city of Qom.
The delegation visited the Shrine of Sayyeda Fatima al-Masouma, peace be upon her, and met with the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, at his honourable residence.
According to Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Sadiq al-Basri, the foundation’s director, this trip was part of the foundation’s religious activities. During their meeting, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urged the delegation to encourage the youth to join religious seminaries to spread the teachings of Ahlulbayt, citing Imam al-Ridha’s words: “Revive our Cause.”
The delegation also met with Ayatollah Sayyed Hussein al-Shirazi, who discussed the current crises affecting Palestine and Lebanon, emphasizing trust in God and seeking the intercession of Ahlulbayt during challenging times.
