Holy Karbala health department unveils its plans for Mid-Sha’ban Pilgrimage
The health department in Holy Karbala has announced today its readiness and emergency plans for the coming Mid-Sha’ban Pilgrimage.
Dr. Sabah Al-Mousawi, the General Director of the department, said that, “The department will launch its plans for the coming Mid-Sha’ban Pilgrimage at the beginning of next week.”
He explained that “the plans include the distribution of 101 ambulances near emergency centers within the old city and on the external roads,” adding that “eight government hospitals have been prepared, and a medical unit has been established at Sayyeda Zainab Surgical Specialty Center.”
Al-Mousawi also pointed out that, “55 health teams have been prepared to monitor drinking water and food provided to the visitors, and to monitor government and private water projects and examine food samples for laboratory testing to determine their suitability for human consumption.”
