Mourning ceremonies on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Jawad, peace be upon him
Several cities in Iraq and the Arab countries witnessed the establishment of mourning ceremonies on the painful martyrdom anniversary of Imam Muhammad al-Jawad, peace be upon him.
The Iraqi provinces of Babylon, Kirkuk and Baghdad, commemorated the painful occasion and recalled the honorable roles of the Imam, peace be upon him, and what he presented in order to support the religion of Islam.
In Bahrain and Kuwait, Husseiniyahs and Shia mosques announced the establishment of mourning programs for the tragedy of the martyrdom of the ninth Imam, peace be upon him.
The Kadhimiya Holy Shrine announced that it will continue holding mourning ceremonies on the sorrowful occasion until the 30th of Dhul-Qa’dah.
The Holy Shrine stated, “The daily mourning ceremonies will be held in the holy courtyard, with the participation of a number of Husseini preachers and elegists.”
