The office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, announced on Monday the beginning of the month of Rajab al-Asabb for the year 1447 AH.

In a brief statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the office said that Monday marks the first day of the month of Rajab al-Asabb for this year. It added that the new moon of Rajab will coincide with Monday, 22 December 2025.

The month of Rajab is considered one of the sacred months in Islam and holds special religious significance. During this month, Muslims observe various acts of worship, including fasting, supplication, and commemorating the birth anniversaries of the infallible Imams, peace be upon them.
