——————————-
Religious scholars from both Shia and Sunni traditions gathered in Khulna, Bangladesh, for a seminar titled “Current Developments in the Middle East and Our Responsibilities,” focusing on regional challenges, Muslim solidarity and cooperation to support peace and stability.
Organized by the Association of Imami Scholars in Bangladesh in collaboration with the Bangtni Khulna Association, the event was held at Al-Kawthar Hall in the Islamic Education Center. Hojjatul Islam Sayyid Ibrahim Khalil Rizvi, head of the Council of Imami Scholars, called on Muslims to stand with oppressed communities and those affected by crises. He also urged responsible reporting and verification of information to prevent rumors and misinformation from deepening divisions.
Participants concluded by calling for continued engagement among Islamic institutions and scholars, joint humanitarian initiatives, and stronger efforts to promote coexistence, understanding and unity across Muslim communities.
