Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges women to take Sayyeda Fatimah al-Zahra as their role model

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has called on women to take Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, as a role model in life, emphasizing that this path leads to true happiness in this world and the hereafter.

In excerpts from his book “And the Sanctity Was Removed,” shared by his official website during the Fatimiyyah commemoration of Sayyeda al-Zahra’s martyrdom, the Grand Marja noted that happiness does not come from wealth, fame, or status but through patience and perseverance for the sake of God.

His Eminence highlighted that women who endure life’s difficulties, including marital challenges or other hardships, with the intention of seeking closeness to God, will not suffer from depression or despair. Instead, they will experience inner peace and spiritual upliftment.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stressed that such a decision elevates a woman’s spiritual life and makes her a model of patience and resilience, highlighting the exemplary role of Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra as a symbol of piety and steadfastness in facing life’s challenges.
