Indian policeman who kicked Muslims during congregational prayer suspended

A police officer was suspended on Friday by authorities in the Indian capital New Delhi after he kicked several men during congregational Muslim prayers, Anadolu Agency reported.

The incident occurred at the capital’s Inderlok area, when people were performing Friday prayers on the road.

Locals in the area blocked the road and demanded action against the policeman after captured videos of his disrespectful behaviour went viral on social media, causing outrage and condemnation.
