The event was attended by the girls’ families, members of the Muslim community and cultural activists. It formed part of the centre’s efforts to strengthen Islamic identity and instil religious values among younger generations.
According to the event organisers, who spoke to Shia Waves Agency, the programme featured a range of religious, cultural and educational activities designed to familiarise the girls with the significance of this stage of life and the religious, moral and social responsibilities associated with it.
The programme included recitations from the Holy Quran, religious chants and short educational workshops covering Islamic rulings, moral principles and everyday etiquette. The activities were tailored to the participants’ ages to help them better understand their religious duties.
Speakers at the event highlighted the important role of families and religious and cultural institutions in raising children and adolescents according to Islamic principles. They stressed the need to support the religious and cultural identity of younger generations, particularly in multicultural societies.
The addresses also emphasised cooperation between parents and Islamic centres in creating a supportive educational environment that strengthens religious awareness among girls, encourages adherence to Islamic teachings and prepares them to fulfil the responsibilities associated with religious maturity.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the centre honoured the girls who had reached the age of religious responsibility and presented them with commemorative gifts. The celebration concluded in an atmosphere of joy and pride, marking an important milestone in their religious lives.
