ISIS Claims Responsibility for Deadly Bombing in Pakistan

The extremist Sunni group ISIS has claimed responsibility for a bombing that killed two police officers in southwestern Pakistan over the weekend, abc News reported today.

The attack occurred in Kuchlak, near Quetta, where an explosive device targeted a police vehicle, injuring two others. Analysts suggest this incident reflects growing collaboration between Islamic militants and separatist groups in Balochistan, known for its ongoing insurgency against the central government.

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), which has previously conducted similar attacks, is believed to be coordinating with the Islamic State. This escalation in violence is concerning, as BLA has recently carried out deadly assaults on security forces, highlighting the region’s instability and the increasing threat to law enforcement and civilians.
