The Misbah al-Hussein Foundation, peace be upon him, for Relief and Development, which operates under the auspices of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the holy Karbala, launched a humanitarian initiative to support orphan and poor children in the city.

The initiative comes in cooperation with the Anwar al-Huda Cultural Charitable Foundation, the Jabal Al-Sabr Campaign for Cultural and Economic Advancement of Women and Children, and the Poor People Without Homes Foundation.

The initiative, titled ‘The Kiswa Project’ comes in conjunction with the sorrowful months of Muharram and Safar, includes the distribution of many necessities for children.
