40 Turkish Female Students Memorize Quran in 75-Day Program

Forty female students in Turkey have completed memorization of the entire Quran after participating in an intensive 75-day program organized in Istanbul.

The program was held at Sabahattin Zaim University in cooperation with Turkey’s Knowledge Dissemination Foundation (Yaygın Eğitim Vakfı). The students received certificates at a ceremony attended by university officials, foundation representatives, local authorities and their families.

The event included Quran recitations and speeches by participants before certificates were presented to the graduates.

Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, said the program combines rapid memorization, understanding of Quranic meanings and the use of traditional musical modes known as maqamat. He added that the foundation plans to establish a research center in Istanbul to study Quran memorization methods and develop related educational programs.
