An Iraqi security source said that a member of the Federal Police was killed and five others wounded in an ISIS terrorist attack south of Samarra.

An Iraqi security source said that a member of the Federal Police was killed and five others wounded in an ISIS terrorist attack south of Samarra.

The source said in a press statement, that members of ISIS attacked a security point belonging to the Federal Police in Al-Saiwiyah of the Al-Mu’tasem area, south of Samarra, which resulted in the death of one officer and the wounding of five others.

It added, “A security force cordoned off the scene, while the injured were taken to a nearby hospital and the body to forensic medicine.”
