International Non-violence calls on the United Nations to investigate violations of the Ethiopian province of Tigray

The International Non-violence Organization, Free Muslim, called on the United Nations to conduct an investigation to reveal the facts in the Ethiopian region of Tigray, warning that military forces committed serious violations against the population.
In a statement received by Shia Waves, the organization stated that it had seen human rights data on the commission of organized targeting and purification by the armed forces of the Ethiopian authorities against civilians, stressing the importance of revealing the facts and punishing those behind these crimes.
The organization warned of the danger of the United Nations not acting urgently regarding what is happening and fearing that the violations will continue on a larger scale, or the impunity of those against whom the crimes are proven.
At the same time, the organization called on the official authorities in Ethiopia to abide by the legal and human rights standards for dealing with civilians, in addition to shouldering their responsibilities to protect them.
