Bangladesh: Bus-pickup truck collision leaves 14 dead

At least 14 people, including five members of a family, were killed on Tuesday in a head-on collision between a bus and a pick-up truck on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Bangladesh, IndianExpress reported.

The accident happened in Faridpur, where a bus bound for Magura city collided with a Dhaka-bound pick-up truck, resulting in 11 immediate deaths, with two more people dying while being transported to the hospital, and another person during treatment.

According to local media, those killed included seven women, three men, and three children.
