Grand Ayatollah Shirazi calls for facilitating travel procedures for citizens of Arab and Islamic countries to revive the Husseini rituals, especially Arbaeen
The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has called on Arab and Islamic governments to facilitate travel procedures and abolish visa and entry costs for the Ahlulbayt lovers, to revive the sacred Husseini rituals, especially the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has called on Arab and Islamic governments to facilitate travel procedures and abolish visa and entry costs for the Ahlulbayt lovers, to revive the sacred Husseini rituals, especially the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
In his speech on the eleventh night of Muharram, His Eminence said in his honorable house in the holy city of Qom, “The revival of the sacred Husseini rituals must receive full attention and care by Arab and Islamic countries, including the Iraqi government. Ahlulbayt lovers are eager to revive the Husseini rituals, but they encounter obstacles and prohibitions imposed by some Arab and Islamic governments, which stand in the way of their coming to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the great occasions.”
The Grand Ayatollah described those who prevent the Ahlulbayt lovers from reviving the Husseini rituals as followers of the Umayyads.
The Supreme Religious Authority called on Arab and Islamic governments, including the government of Iraq, to facilitate travel procedures and cancel visa and entry costs, so that the pilgrims can come to the holy city of Karbala and revive the occasions of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, including the upcoming Arbaeen Pilgrimage.
