Over 100 Arab and foreign countries to participate in Arabeen Massive Pilgrimage

The Husseini Processions Department has revealed that more than 100 countries will participate in this year’s Arabeen Massive Pilgrimage in Holy Karbala.

Mazin Al-Wazni, an official at the department, said in a statement seen by Shia Waves Agency tgst more than 100 Arab and foreign processions from various parts of the world will be present in Holy Karbala, including Iran, Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Sweden, Canada, America, Belgium, China, Britain and other countries.

He pointed out that people from different sects, faiths and nationalities will be be participating in the commemoration of the Arabeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

Al-Wazni stressed that the most important part to receive these processions is to complete their legal papers, specify their locations and to instruct them on the guidelines of the holy city on how to maintain cleanliness and security.
