Mesbah Al-Hussein Foundation to distribute 100,000 Ramadan meals to disadvantaged families

Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation, for Relief and Development, affiliated to the office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, and in partnership with IHC organization, has begun preparing Ramadan meals for this year.

Mr. Abdul-Saheb Al-Kashwan, Director of the Foundation, explained that Mesbah Al-Hussein Foundation, for Relief and Development, since its establishment, has been keen on perpetuating and expanding its great humanitarian project (Ramadan baskets), according to the directives and recommendations of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, and under the supervision of His Eminence, Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen, Sheikh Mustafa al-Muhammadi, the head of the Organization.

The Organization will distribute over 100,000 Ramadan meals in partnership with other offices of the Supreme Religious Authority and a number of charitable and humanitarian organizations; in addition to a number of civil society organizations in Iraq, and the mayors of the holy city of Karbala.

Each food basket will have a form to be filled on the competition launched by the Mesbah Al-Hussein Foundation, which aims at creating an atmosphere of interaction and optimism among orphans and needy children.
