Grand Ayatollah Shirazi calls on women to assume full responsibility in delivering authentic Islamic message
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has recommended that young believing women and teenagers take on great responsibility in any position they are in and to launch projects that serve Islamic communities.
In his annual pre-Ramadan address to women, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stated: “Young believing women and teenagers from amongst the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, have a great responsibility in delivering the message of authentic Islam after fully understanding the true Sharia.”
He added that “the true knowledge of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his pure family, must spread widely, and this can be achieved today through social media platforms and various modern means.”
At the same time, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stressed that “women should draw inspiration in this Islamic mission from the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his family, and to learn how to remain steadfast and righteous on this path, while maintaining good manners.”
His Eminence concluded that “staying on this path guarantees paradise for women, and they will not achieve this except through knowing the path of righteousness and acting in accordance with the instructions of the hounorable Sharia.”
