Syria Deploys Security Forces After Deadly Shooting in Tartous Countryside

Syrian security forces were deployed in the area of Beit Awad, along the Safita–Mashta al-Helu road in the Tartous countryside, following a shooting incident that initially left three young men dead and another injured, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The incident reportedly occurred during a security operation to pursue a wanted individual who was traveling with several others. The Observatory said an exchange of fire took place, resulting in casualties among those accompanying the wanted person.
