According to Middle East News, these public preparations are taking place despite special restrictions and strict measures imposed by the Bahraini government on the organization of Muharram ceremonies.

Religious groups and Hussaini procession organizers, despite these legal pressures, are widely setting up mourning centers and service stations along main routes to provide a suitable atmosphere for citizens to participate in the ceremonies and express their devotion to Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
