Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem has once again brought glory to Pakistan by winning gold in the men’s javelin throw at the Asian Athletics Championship in Gumi, South Korea, Dawn E-Paper reported.

With a throw of 86.40m, Nadeem outperformed India’s Sachin Yadav and Japan’s Yuta Sakiyama, who took silver and bronze respectively.

This marks Pakistan’s first gold medal at the championship in 50 years. Nadeem, who holds the Olympic record, dedicated his victory to Allah, the Almighty, first and then to his supporters, emphasizing the role of his faith and team in his success.

Celebrations poured in from across Pakistan, with leaders and athletes congratulating him for his remarkable achievement.

It should be mentioned that the athlete is know for his chanting “Ya Ali” upon his massive throws.
