Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has called for greater participation in mourning ceremonies marking the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), urging that the gatherings be expanded across Muslim countries and around the world.

In a recommendation on commemorating the Fatimiyyah days, his Eminence stressed that the mourning gatherings should maintain their presence and vitality. He encouraged believers to participate actively, invite others to attend and work to extend the ceremonies to communities worldwide.

He also emphasised that commemorating Lady Fatima should go beyond holding mourning rituals to include sharing her teachings, life and moral values with people everywhere. He described her example as a source of spiritual, educational and ethical guidance for individuals and society.
