Fatimiyyah Mourning Ceremonies Held in Bamyan and Kabul
——————————–
Religious centres affiliated with Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in Afghanistan have held mourning ceremonies marking the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), with the participation of scholars, seminary students and large numbers of believers.
In Bamyan, the local office is holding a 20-day programme from 13 Jumada al-Awwal to 3 Jumada al-Thani, featuring religious lectures and mourning rituals. Speakers have addressed Lady Fatima’s status and virtues, as well as teachings from Nahj al-Balagha.
In Kabul, the Fatima al-Zahra Complex in the Omid Sabz residential area also hosted a mourning gathering attended by devotees and children under the complex’s care. The events aim to promote the teachings and values of Lady Fatima and strengthen the younger generation’s connection with the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
