Nigeria Holds Fourth Conference of Shia Muslims

On October 15, the fourth conference of Shia Muslims was held in Kano, Nigeria, organized by the emulators of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Hosseini al-Shirazi.

The event, titled “Return to Authentic Shia Islam and the Fight Against Partisanship,” attracted dozens of Shia participants, including prominent religious and social figures from across Africa.

The two-day conference focused on the history of the Shia faith’s emergence in Africa and various issues affecting Shia communities on the continent. Attendees engaged in discussions aimed at reinforcing their identity and addressing contemporary challenges faced by Shia Muslims in the region.
