Shia police inspector martyred by terrorist groups in Pakistan
Pakistani media reported that Shia police inspector Amir Ali was martyred in Karachi on Tuesday by terrorist groups operating in the country.
The media outlets, followed by Shia Waves Agency, stated that “the martyr Amir Ali was assassinated by terrorists near Gulshan Hotel in Maimar area of Karachi.”
They continued that “Ali was targeted by terrorists upon his return from a visit to the graves of his relatives buried in Al-Hussein Cemetery.”
The news outlets added that “Amir Ali used to visit the cemetery that includes the remains of the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, every morning.”
They also pointed out that “the continuation of hostility and targeting of Shia Muslims by terrorist groups confirms the extent of danger they face.”
Predominantly Shia-populated cities in Pakistan are constantly under attack by extremists and terrorist groups, most notably the Pakistani Taliban movement and ISIS.
