Imam Sadiq Institute in Denmark Commemorates Martyrdom of Imam Ali, peace be upon him

Copenhagen hosts solemn rituals blending Quranic recitation, sermons, and Night of Qadr observances.

Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) Institute, a Copenhagen-based center linked to the Supreme Religious Authority, marked the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) with a multifaceted program. The event drew congregants for Quranic recitations, scholarly discourses, and traditional mourning rituals.

Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mohammad Al-Bahadli delivered a keynote address emphasizing Imam Ali’s enduring legacy of justice, while eulogist Sayed Mohammad Al-Kashwan led noha (lamentations) and matam (ritual mourning). The gathering also observed the second Laylat al-Qadr with prayers and reflections on divine mercy.

It should be mentioned that the centre is an active hub that provides religious programs and upholds the rituals of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, throughout the year, with focus on youth within the community.
