Suicide bombing in northwest Pakistan kills 5 Chinese nationals
At least five Chinese nationals and their local driver were killed in a suicide bombing in northwest Pakistan on Tuesday, the Associate Press reported.
The incident occurred in the Shangla district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into the vehicle carrying Chinese engineers.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been linked to previous attacks on Chinese workers in the region, as well as Baluch separatists, who have claimed previous such attacks.
