Pakistan International Airlines announced the completion of the schedule of its special flights to the cities of Najaf and Baghdad, to mark the upcoming pilgrimage of Arbaeen in Karbala, indicating that the Pakistanis will be able to travel to Najaf and Baghdad from September 27 to October 5.

A local news agency quoted a spokesperson for the airline saying, “The company will operate flights from September 27 to next October 5,” adding that “the airline has provided special discounted prices for the pilgrims of Arbaeen.”
For his part, the CEO of Pakistan Airlines, retired Air Marshal Arshad Malik, said, while sharing his views on the completion of the flight schedule, “The airline feels privileged to serve pilgrims on the holy day of Arbaeen.”
Malik added, “He held meetings with the Iraqi ambassador to Pakistan to discuss the possibility of operating special flights to Iraq,” noting that he “instructed Pakistan Airlines officials to provide the best possible services to travelers from the national airline to mark the holy day.”
