Sweden-based Shia centers, husseiniyas establish Ashura ceremonies
The Shia followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in the Swedish capital Stockholm and other cities, including Trollhattan and Malmo, held mourning ceremonies in memory of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The ceremonies were established in mosques, husseiniyats and Islamic centers, with huge participation of the believers and devotees of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The mourners confirmed to Shia Waves Agency that they will, “continue to establish there mourning ceremonies over the tragedy that befell Imam Hussein and his family on the tenth of Muharram, to inform the world of the oppression and cruelty of the enemies of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.”
The organizers pointed out that, “Shia Muslims from Iraq, Lebanon, Iran and other communities attended the ceremonies to commemorate the Ashura rituals.”
