Grand Ayatollah Shirazi to Address Preachers Ahead of Muharram

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, will deliver an important speech to a gathering of preachers in the holy city of Qom ahead of the arrival of the month of Muharram 1448 AH.

The speech will focus on the role of preachers in explaining the teachings of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and the importance of keeping the message of Ashura alive in society.

In last year’s gathering, His Eminence emphasized the need to globalize the message of Ashura and highlighted the exceptional qualities of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The gathering will provide an opportunity for preachers to discuss new methods for more effective propagation of the teachings of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

The event will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. local time and 8:30 p.m. Karbala time, at the residence of His Eminence in Qom, Enqelab Street, Alley 6.

It is worth noting that the speech will be broadcast live from Imam Hussein Media Group.
