Grand Ayatollah Shirazi urges Shias and Muslims to urgently support quake-stricken victims

The Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has urged his followers around the world and all Muslims to provide urgent assistance to the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria and left horrific losses in lives and property.

The Office of the Supreme Religious Authority in Beirut quoted His Eminence as confirming the provision of urgent and immediate assistance to those affected by the devastating earthquake that struck the two Muslim countries.

His Eminence said: “There should be a definite initiative and serious endeavor to help all those affected by the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria.”

The recommendations of the Supreme Religious Authority are based on his legal responsibility towards all Muslims and his paternal care for all, while several institutions affiliated with the honorable authority rushed to provide the necessary assistance to the earthquake victims in both Turkey and Syria.
