Followers of the Sikh religion in Pakistan participate in the ceremonies of the Prophet’s birth anniversary
Followers of the Sikh religion in the Pakistani state of Punjab participated in the commemoration of the Prophet’s birth anniversary in a large public ceremony held at one of their temples.
A large crowd of Muslims and Sikhs participated in the ceremony, which was organized by the Organization of the Holy Quran Methodology in cooperation with the President of the Sikh Association in the state of Punjab.
The ceremony was held with the aim of spreading peaceful coexistence among the followers of religions in Pakistan.
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan announced that the government celebrated the Prophet’s birth anniversary on October 19.
Imran Khan emphasized that the achievements of the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, are part of history, and as much as a person reads, he will know how great these achievements are and what we can learn from them.
The Pakistani government has declared the occasion a state-wide holiday.
