Turkey’s Shias celebrate Eid al-Ghadir

The followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, celebrated in the Turkish capital, Istanbul, the blessed occasion of Eid al-Ghadir, the day on which the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, appointed Imam Ali, peace be upon him, as his successor.
The correspondent of Shia Waves in Turkey stated, “The lovers of the pure progeny attended the cultural events held by the Imam Hussein Foundation, peace be upon him, in Istanbul, which was held in commemoration of the ten days of Ghadir, the completion of religion, and the completion of blessings.”
He added that “the believers celebrating the auspicious occasion exchanged congratulations and blessings on this occasion.”
He explained that “the activities held included delivering speeches and poems in honor of the blessed day.”
