Banquet in honor of Sayyeda Ruqayya in Bein al-Haramein

As a special mourning ritual, the largest banquet in honor of Sayyeda Ruqayya, peace be upon her, was organized last night in Bein al-Haramein.
The mourning ritual, which is held for the seventh year in a row, was initiated under the supervision of the Global Forum for the Service of Sayyeda Ruqayya, peace be upon her, and in coordination with the holy shrines.
The ceremony began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the Ziyarah of Sayyeda Ruqayya, peace be upon her, and then poems recited by Sayyed Hisham al-Battat.
The tablecloth for the banquet is green with scattered thorns, representing the thorns that the young martyr walked on, on the day of Ashura.
