Honourable house of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi hosts mourning gatherings over martyrdom of Sayyeda Fatima Al-Zahraa
With hearts filled with grief and sorrow, believers gathered across the globe to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Sayyeda Fatimah Al-Zahra, peace be upon her, a towering figure who epitomized sacrifice and steadfastness in defending Islamic values and principles.
In an atmosphere of solemnity and faith, Fatimid mourning assemblies were held at sacred shrines, holy sites, and Islamic centers, including streets and Hussainiyas. The house of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom, stood out as one of the central hubs for these rituals.
It is worth mentioning that the Grand Marja places great importance on commemorating the Fatimid days according to various narrations, emphasizing the significance of these occasions in strengthening the bond between the Muslim nation and Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
The mourning gatherings featured poignant sermons recounting the immense tragedy that befell the Household of Prophethood after the passing of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family, and the subsequent injustices and oppression endured by Sayyeda Fatimah, peace be upon her), leading to her martyrdom and the loss of her unborn child, Al-Muhsin, peace be upon him.
