Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi urges journalists fulfill their responsibility in promoting teachings of Ahlulbayt

Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir al-Najafi emphasized the vital role media plays in guiding society and disseminating truth, referring to media as the “tongue of society” that reveals facts and directs people toward the right path.

Grand Ayatollah al-Najafi’s remarks came during a meeting with a delegation of journalists from Najaf, where the focus was on the media’s role in serving society and the importance of media professionals assuming responsibility in shaping public opinion and spreading the teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.

Grand Ayatollah al-Najafi stressed that journalists should remain aware of their surroundings and use their professional skills to offer advice and guidance, acting as advocates for truth and justice, urging media professionals to be vigilant, likening them to open eyes and ears that observe and listen to the world, aiming to convey the truth to the public.
