Holy Najaf hosts 13th Annual Conference for Holy Arba’een Preachers and Missionaries
Holy Najaf hosted on Monday the 13th Annual Conference for Preachers and Missionaries from the honourable Hawza in preparation for the Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him.
The conference, organized by the Najaf Seminary under the title, “Seminary Students Revive Religious Rituals on the Path of Arbaeen Pilgrimage,” began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq.
Participants in the conference explained that its purpose is to enhance the jurisprudential and doctrinal aspects of the pilgrimage and to answer the questions and inquiries of pilgrims coming from within Iraq and abroad.
They also noted that the conference marks the annual launch of a broad-reaching preaching project targeting the millions of pilgrims heading to Holy Karbala from various Iraqi provinces.
The project aims to spread religious awareness and provide answers to the pilgrims’ legal and doctrinal questions. This will be done in collaboration with students from the seminary under the guidance of the Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf.
A group of preachers will be distributed along the routes leading to Holy Karbala to explain religious rulings and jurisprudential matters.
