Grand Ayatollah Shirazi renews authorization for Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation
In recognition of its efforts and dedication, the Supreme Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi has renewed his authorization for Holy Karbala-based Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development.
This move comes after seven years of distinguished achievements in the fields of relief and development, during which the foundation has implemented dozens of charitable, service, humanitarian, and educational projects.
On this occasion, the Supreme Religious Authority said: “I congratulate you on your great faith-based and humanitarian initiative, which serves as an exemplary model in serving the needs of honourable believers and fostering the spirit of solidarity and compassion.”
He continued: “I pray to Almighty God for your continuous success and more blessings under the guidance and support of al-Hujjah Ibn Al-Hassan, may Allah hasten his honourable reappearance.”
His Eminence clarified that “the foundation is authorized to receive khums, zakha, general donations, and public endowments, especially the blessed share of Imam and to spend one-third of it in its prescribed purposes, which is accepted and accounted for, God willing.”
Over the past years, the Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development has organized numerous cultural and educational activities, as well as various awareness and development programs.
The foundation has been distinguished by its active presence in conferences, seminars, and specialized meetings, enhancing its fruitful communication with hundreds of civil society organizations, governmental institutions, and prominent figures on various levels.
The foundation has expanded its scope of work to include activities and projects in several Arab and foreign countries, earning it an international dimension and a distinctive regional presence.
