Imam Ali Holy Shrine announces participation of over three million pilgrims in Eid-ul-Ghadir
The Imam Ali Holy Shrine has announced the success of its service and security plan laid for Eid al-Ghadir, confirming that the holy city received more than 3 million pilgrims.
The head of the Holy Shrine’s Media Department, Hayder Raheem, said in a statement followed by Shia Waves that, “The high-tech cameras and technical devices, installed all over the Holy Shrine, recorded with highly accuracy more than three million pilgrims from the beginning of the pilgrimage until Friday.”
The Holy Shrine mobilized all efforts to provide the best services to pilgrims coming to the Holy Shrine of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) on Eid al-Ghadir, to perform Ziarah.
Raheem added: “Imam Ali Holy Shrine paid great attention to commemorating this occasion and prepared a program full of events and activities that continued for more than a week, including cultural, service, social and security ones, which necessitated mobilizing all efforts for the employees of the Holy Shrine to provide services to the honorable pilgrims.”
