In conjunction with blessed birth of Sayyeda Fatima, Al-Abbas Holy Shrine launches its 6th annual ‘Rooh Al-Nobowa Festival’

On the occasion of the joyful anniversary of the blessed birth of Sayyeda Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine began on Wednesday the activities of the 6th annual Rooh Al-Nobowa Festival, amid a participation of more than (14) Arab and foreign countries.

The Secretariat-General of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine said: “The festival is held this year under the slogan ‘Fatima al-Zahra: the Confluence of Prophethood and Imamate’, on the occasion of the birth of Sayyida Fatima Zahra, peace be upon her, and to highlight her holy biography through various cultural activities.”

The Secretariat-General said in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency that “The festival included many and varied activities, including honoring the families of the martyrs, reciting poems in honor of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, a theatrical performance, and other cultural activities.”

The statement explained that “the festival, which lasts for six days, includes the establishment of a research conference, a Quranic and poetic session, and many religious and cultural activities, with the participation of (14) Arab and foreign countries, namely Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Lebanon, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Iran, France, England, Italy, Spain and Belgium.”
