Sharjah Symposium Explores AI’s Role in Quranic Rhetorical Studies

The Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah held a symposium on Thursday, bringing together Islamic affairs authorities, universities and researchers from several countries to discuss the Encyclopedia of Rhetorical Exegesis and the future of Quranic rhetorical studies.
The sessions examined the encyclopedia’s scholarly methodology, the rhetorical features of Quranic parables and the potential of artificial intelligence to identify and explain their meanings. Participants also discussed digital applications of rhetorical exegesis and the development of specialized terminology.
Speakers highlighted how the encyclopedia examines Quranic vocabulary, contextual meanings and rhetorical structures, helping reveal the subtleties and eloquence of the Quranic text. The event concluded with Al Hosani honoring the speakers and participants.
