French Muslim Council Condemns Death Threats Against Worshippers at Lodève Mosque

The French Council of the Muslim Faith (CFCM) has condemned Islamophobic threats targeting worshippers at a mosque in Lodève, in the Hérault department, and called on authorities to protect the Muslim community and prosecute those responsible.

Hostile messages, including “Islam out” and “the suitcase or the coffin,” were discovered near the mosque. A dead bird was also reportedly left outside the place of worship.
