The followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, in Turkey appealed to the religious authority and the concerned authorities to intervene to allow them to perform Arbaeen Pilgrimage in Iraq.
‘The Shia of Turkey’ website said on Twitter, “We ask the religious authority and the concerned authorities to intervene to allow the lovers of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, to visit Iraq to commemorate Arbaeen,” adding, “We are responsible for our lives and souls, and we demand that our message be conveyed.”
It is noteworthy that the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, had previously called on Arab and Islamic governments to facilitate travel procedures and cancel entry visa costs for citizens to revive the Husseini rituals, especially the immortal Arbaeen pilgrimage.
