Holy Karbala Government reveals construction of new roads to serve Arba’een pilgrims

The Governor of the holy city of Karbala, Nassif Al-Khattabi, announced on Thursday the construction of new roads to facilitate the movement of pilgrims during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

Al-Khattabi confirmed, in a press conference, the expansion of all entry ports to Holy Karbala to accommodate the largest number of visitors to the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and to organize their entry to the province.

Al-Khattabi pointed out that an elaborate security and service plan has been developed to serve pilgrims heading from the provinces towards the holy city of Karbala in coordination with the concerned departments.

It should be mentioned that millions of Shia pilgrims will converge on the holy city of Karbala from Iraq and other countries to commemorate the rituals of the Arbaeen of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
