Medical malpractice in Bahraini prisons kills Shia youth
A 32-year-old Bahraini Shia youth who was sentenced to life imprisonment and was diagnosed with cancer in “Jo” Central Prison died due to medical malpractice.
Mohammad Abdullah Hassan Yaqoob died while undergoing treatment for lung cancer two years after his temporary release.
The funeral ceremony of this young man was accompanied by political slogans against the Al-Khalifa regime.
The participants chanted slogans to the effect that the reason for Muhammad Abdullah’s death was medical malpractice in prison and his disease reaching an advanced stage.
