Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation takes part in meeting of Iraq’s Standing Committee for Voluntary Work
Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation, for Relief and Development, a center affiliated to the office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has participated in the meeting held by the Standing Committee for Voluntary Work.
The Foundation said in a statement received by Shia Waves Agency that it, “Participated in the meeting of the Standing Committee for Voluntary Work, affiliated to the office of the Secretariat-General of the Council of Ministers of Iraq.”
The director of Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation, Abdul Sahib Al-Kishwan, attended the meeting who highlighted the main activities of the Foundation, especially its humanitarian, service and developmental projects.
Amongst the projects Al-Kishwan spoke about during the meeting is the “Charter for Protecting Iraq’s Orphans”, which he said was welcomed by the attendees.
The statement added that this was the opening meeting which will be followed by other meetings on voluntary work activities, to better serve the Iraqi people.
The statement also said that the Foundation was highly acclaimed for its service, developmental and humanitarian activities by the attendees.
